Ahoy!

     11 boats sailed the triangle in reverse with a windward starting leg.   The wind was strong at a good 15 knots for the first mile and 1/2, but then slowly dropped off.  Note that the scores reported at the after race gathering were incorrect due to a typo in the length of the race...so there are some changes.  Julia Lee won the race handily...the "Winner of 3 in a row penalty" she suffered earlier in the season was insufficient to set the little catboat back.  The competition for the Jewett Cup has really heated up now with Tamu continuing in first place but only 3 points ahead of Artful Dodger and Penelope who are tied for second.  Sunday's race, the last of the in-season races, will be the decider.  Our guest boat this evening was Moonraker, a Morris Spirit 36, sailed by Zach Lee.  This was a warm up race for her as she prepares for the Moffett.
