Ahoy!

5 boats sailed course Number 5 with a windward leg making for 10.6 miles in some serious wind and waves.  The cross current course includes a leg, in this case with a favorable current, along the Falmouth water front, but it was all to weather to get back to the finish.   Silhouette won today's race with just 49 seconds to spare (Corrected, 2 Min - 9 Sec elapsed)  and 3rd and 4th  positions were corrected to just over a minute.  This after 2 hours on the course. 

The Jewett Cup is still up for grabs with just 2 races left on the schedule.  The top three in the running Tamu with 77 points, Artful Dodger (75 points) and Penelope (73 points) will need to do high math to figure out how the 40% throw out rule will weigh in.  Is there a wildcard...you never know.   I'm sure all three are wondering how many boats and thus how many points are in the balance for the 2 final outings.
