3 boats found smooth waters and no other boats north of the breakwater as rumors of a pending blow were passed around. The course was the triangle in reverse, the wind was just enough and the competition close. After an hour and 5 minutes Penelope was able to best Gloria by 48 seconds for the win and Silhouette came up third.
We are all hoping Hurricane Lee tires and leaves us a Sunday with enough, but not too much wind for more fun at 2 PM. The post season Hugh Schwarz Cup is at stake but we need three racers to count a race and five races to make a series. Join in even if you can not make them all.
