Ahoy!

10 boats came out for a day promising light air racing, and got it.  The dying Northeast breeze led the decision of course to remain in the harbor and course one in reverse was set.   The wind did indeed die and the more southernly wind kicked in, but not until an hour was spent wishing and hoping.  The race was shortened to once around and Adam Hayes drove Bliss to a clear victory.  Frank Sutula brought Soma Holiday out for his first HHSA race this year and scored a second, correcting to just under 5 minutes behind Bliss.  Mike Powers sailing Artful Dodger scored third and then, hopefully, got a nice wind for sailing all the way back to Falmouth.

Next race Thursday, 5:00 PM warning.

Roger
