Ahoy!
9 boats raced the triangle with the windward starting leg and then East Chop, West Chop against a building flooding tide and then back to Nun 6 in the Harbor. 3 quick boats beat the dying wind and the stronger foul current to finish well ahead of the 6 boats left to a longer affair, trying to keep moving in the right direction. It was Apres, Truckin and Silhouette for the top three places, then 26 minutes later the second tier came in with just a couple of minutes separating each position. Alas Tristan, in the Swan 42, Corban, set out looking for some wind to the north but found it only by conceding too much time to the foul current and ending up being late in getting the Southerly which came out of the harbor for a brief 15 minutes to bring his competitors finally to Nun 4 and through a good portion of the final leg to the finish.
4 H-12s also raced this evening finishing in the following order:

Directions: come in at 265 Main St (on the right coming out of town), but it may make more sense to park on Main St., and walk in until you see the post on the left that marks our driveway. We have spots for only a few cars. Also, you can come in on Bailey Lane where there are maybe four spots. Let's hope there is such a good turnout that parking is a real problem! Look forward to seeing you all! BYOB Ice , tonic, ice tea provided.
