Holmes Hole Sailing Association Announces 2022 Season

Ahoy!

   The HHSA is preparing for another fun Summer of Sailboat racing in the Harbor and on the Sound!  Attached please find the 2022 Racing Circular which includes the schedule and everything you need to know about racing this Season.  Of particular note relative to this year includes these points;

   1.  Register for the season by going to the Regatta Net website (link below) and paying your annual dues of $100.  Save $10 by registering and paying the entry fee for the Moffet at the same time:  Total $140.  Associate membership is encouraged for crew and Friends of the Club.  $15

   2.  Bonus:  Your combined entry will include entry fee for the VHYC's Jewett race in August....saving even more.

   3.  Competition for the season's awards will include Sunday's racing only.  Thursday Evening races will return to an informal race for race status:  Coffee Cup to the winner of each race, presented at the VHYC snack bar, after race gathering...all HHSA racers welcome.

   4.  We have scheduled only one Rendezvous race (to Tarpaulin Cove,  August 21st).  Fleet start at 11:00 AM.

   5.  We will race as one division and courses will be determined on the day of race, depending on conditions, same as last year.

For those ready to get some practice in before the June 12th Tune-up race, the Commodore, Tom Wescott will be leading pre-season racing starting Sunday, May 29th at 1 PM at Nun 6.  Tom will indicate course, start will be self policed and times will be reported to me via text or email, upon completion of the course.  Watch for further announcements.

Please take a minute right now to register and pay your dues so we have time to include you in the ratings by the time racing starts.

See you on the water.  Can't wait.

Roger.
