11 boats for today's race on a shortened Course #1. The start was postponed until 1:35. It was a slow go in extremely light winds coming from the hospital but those who made it around Nun 4 found something coming in from the east unobstructed by East Chop. That together with a flooding tide made short work of the leg to Can 23a. Getting back to the finish line was another matter but 10 boats did finish as was planned at the start. Penelope won the cup and was first to the finish.
The 2021 season is down to two more races; This Thursday and Next Sunday. The Moffett race follows on Saturday, Sept. 11. Penalty free deadline for Moffett race is Monday, Sept. 7th at Midnight so register now.
