Ahoy -
3 big boats braved the 30 knot gusts and 20 knot winds to race the Course 2 in reverse (East Chop, West Chop, Hedgefence, and back to the harbor) with the usual 1/2 mile starting leg. The 7 mile course took just over an hour with the winner, Artful Dodger recording an average of 6 knots. Trinity has secured a rating adjustment, but it was no help today.
Thursday's winds are expected to be somewhat lighter and presently are fore-casted to be out of the East...Maybe Rain?
You should have received instructions on how to order a fried chicken bucket for Thursday, but you certainly don't have to do so to attend the after race get together. BYOB.
I trust the crews on the big boats enjoyed the blow, but Gloria is looking forward to something under 15.
Thanks to Logan on the committee boat who apparently had no issues setting lines and making sure the race went off without a hitch.
