Ahoy -

    9 boats for a grey and cloudy evening race on the triangle course in reverse in an Easterly 2 knots of wind.  But the chop was the story as 6' rollers came in from the sound, bashing the boats as they headed for East Chop on the first leg.  The same waves provided exhilarating surfing from Nun 4 to the finish line.  All and all, the short race really compressed the times and the 9 racers recorded corrected times all within 4 minutes after the 3.2 mile race.  Penelope won the race by 15 seconds over Truckin who was 29 seconds ahead of 3rd placed Tamu. 

    Sunday may show some clearing by race time and moderate winds are expected.
