Ahoy!

8 boats turned out for the 2020 HHSA Tune-up race.  The Father's Day event was hosted on a perfect summer's day with westerly winds bouncing around from 0 to 12 knots, all within the 2 hour 6.75 Mile race.  The course was #2 reverse with a windward start from the eastern edge of the outer harbor.  The ebbing tide did not cause too many problems as long as the wind held up.  After it died, the few boats left on the course struggled to finish and in fact, the  little H 12 1/2, new to HHSA, did not. 

The first race of the season, starting contention for seasonal awards and the Jewett Cup, will be Thursday Evening with a 6 PM warning signal.  I sighted many HHSA member's boat in the harbor and expect a good turn out over the summer.
