Ahoy -
We settled for 3 boats today after learning that Tamu had been hauled for the season to the surprise of the Commodore who didn't get the word. The strong steady wind and fair ebbing tides made for a fast race which leads to good news for the slower rated boats. Indeed it was a runaway for Gloria, even as she carried a 30 sec/mi penalty for consecutive wins (4) and now will add another 15 seconds should we get in another race. It was course 3 in reverse with sun and wind...delightful. It is that time of year for either big winds or no winds and some boats have been hauled for the season. We'll race if Three show up. Stay tuned if still interested and we will see what we will see.
