Ahoy -
The weather continues to provide great post season sailing. 5 boats raced down to G27 at Makonikey Head in an Easterly of about 11 knots. Current was mostly favorable both ways, helping to continue Gloria's 2024 Racing successes. It will take more wind than today's to make her reef down and other than the crazy chop at West Chop, the waters were pretty smooth. Mo Flam and Penelope took a few minutes to see if Middle Ground was all sand, and how much. Some time was needed as he and Lorne figured out how to de-ground themselves and rejoin the others heading up the Sound.
Not too late to join the Post Season fun. Just to remind everyone about the crazy scoring we use for the Post Season: To qualify for the Hugh Schwarz Post Season Cup, you'll need to participate in at least 5 races and then, only your best five races will count. The races are scored using the High Point system. We will count the races as long as at least 3 boats show up for a race.
