Ahoy!
Tom reports: We had "four for the fourth"...four boats competing around the triangle.. Perfect evening with a fresh southwesterly 14-18. Course 0 with a windward start off the hospital/east chop shore. The Sonar led from the start, but the fleet compressed to a few boat lengths for the rounding of nun 4 off west chop. The windward leg from east chop to the finish saw the Sonar and Bliss put some distance on the Alerions. All boats had additional crew (family and friends it seemed) to help handle the fresh breeze. Hopefully we'll be back at full strength on Sunday with new members coming out for the fun.
The club Sonar, sailed by the Mandels, won the cup by just 28 seconds (Corrected). Hopefully they will become regulars so if necessary, I can adjust their rating to reflect their history.
