HHSA: Thursday's Results

Ahoy!

Third try brings out 13 boats for the first race in the 2024 season that will count towards the Season's Awards.

A rainy morning yielded to some sun and a beautiful dinner on the deck at the VHYC after near perfect conditions
on the water.    A snafu withthe electronic timepieces and their relationship with the Global Positioning Satellites
raised some issues but I now believe the finish times to be correct.  Of course I needed to watch the train wreck
of a debate on CNN first, but now can report the results.  Once again just seconds determined the winner which
was APRES, who won the cup.

Welcome again, to the two boats from Falmouth; Shannon, and last year's Jewett Cup winner, Artful Dodger and
the recent entry, Zebra, the W 46.  A great turn out to start our season.

The forecast for Sunday is windy again with maybe some showers.  Your leaders will determine if a cancellation is warranted
by noon to give those coming from afar time to make adjustments.

All the best,  Roger.
