Ahoy!  Encore again!

16 boats raced this evening.  Largest turnout for a June race within anyone's memory.   Good mix of all types of racers as can be seen on the results page.  7 boats over 35', 3 VHYC Sonars, 3 Alerion 28s and more.  The course was counter clockwise with a windward starting leg.  A final windward leg left some out of the breeze on the right side, allowing a chance for the back of the fleet to catch up from the left.  No fooling around as 12 of the 16 positions were determined by under 1 minute of the hour long race.   Welcome to new member Brian Gordon and his C&C Redline 41, Eveniing Star.  Dominic Maxwell is now putting up some numbers sailing his Morris 36, Liberty and Robert Simon is joining in with his Alerion 20, Shooting Star. Great to see Mike Powers with Artful Dodger returning for more from Falmouth.  Its a handicapper's dream!  Good showing at the VHYC for dinner...everyone welcome.
