As we step into May, with a big Northeast blow forecast, it is hard not to be thinking about the coming
season of sailing. Hopefully you have your boat well on it way towards a launch date as we will all be waiting to see you on the water. The season starts with the tune up race on June 18th but there will be pre-season warm up races starting Memorial Day weekend. Watch for emailed notices and don't miss out. I'm attaching the 2023 Racing Circular, Schedule and Ratings for our usual racers. If you are not on the list, don't worry, we will have you covered...but let me know your intentions so I can find a good number for you. The web site link is below as is the link to the place you pay up for the season. Bucking the current inflation rates, our HHSA rate remains the same. No where else will you get a full summer racing schedule for so little.
The Website will advise as to this year's plans but basically here they are:
We will be racing as one division as last year. Sundays and Thursdays races together will count towards season's awards. Start time for Sunday races is being shifted to 2:00 PM in hopes of more wind and time for lunch before setting off.
We are hoping all will join in the EYC Round the Sound/Island racing, the Vineyard Cup and the Jewett Bowl all in practice for the end of season Moffett Race.
