AHOY!
3 boats reefed down and braved the 20 knot Northeast wind. They reported excellent surfing conditions from Can 23a to the Harbor, Nun 6. No worse for wear, and no reports of equipment failure, all were happy to have shown their mettle in the brisk conditions. Tamu, again showing that the Alerion 28s can do the job in any conditions, won the race as Silhouette, who crossed the finish line first, was only a minute and 1/2 ahead. Trinity was the third boat, hoping the strong breeze would get her 15,000 pounds moving.
Next race is scheduled for next Thursday, 4 PM warning.
