As 2021 warms up, the HHSA is getting some practice in for the season. 6 boats came out this afternoon to try out the perfect conditions, racing twice around the HHSA triangle as Course 1 was called for the day. In addition to the six, which included Dan Pesch's new Hinckley Yawl, Masquerade was seen in the vicinity. Dan hasn't changed the name on the back of his boat from Eileen to Eider yet and now he will need some work on his jib lead track.. The rest of the racers, having reported their finish times to the second will enjoy, or not, the precision of their time keeping.

My boat, Gloria, responded well to her new sail, but her win was probably more related to the fluky winds along the second leg heading east towards Can 23A. The fleet was kind enough to slow down and allow me to catch up.
