Ahoy!  18 boats including new member Tim Colon with his Whitby 45 "Zenith" came out for another perfect evening sail around the triangle.  After the beat to N6 it was off to East Chop, West Chop and home.  The beat home was a long one no matter which side you chose, but the ratings kept it close.  "A" division places for 3rd, 4th and 5th were corrected to within 6 seconds even though it was a Brenta 38, Hanse 335 and a Tartan 3500.

Cups go to Truckin' and Providence.

If you didn't take advantage of the $90 HHSA and Moffett special, you can still add your name for the Moffett race by registering online or via USPS.  Check the website Holmeshole.org for links to Moffett information.

Next race is Sunday to Chappy.  Often raced in light air, the race offers a good challenge with currents and often a chance to beat your way up to the Edgartown lighthouse.  Only two more Thursday evening races.  Next week will continue the 6:00 PM starting time, then we will switch to 5:00 PM for the last Thursday on the 31st.  Chappy, a sound race and then 2 harbor races on Sept. 3rd will give you some time to score some low numbers and throw out some mistakes from earlier in the season.
