Ahoy!

Not enough wind to get around the course #1R in the morning.  Four were able to round Can 23a, the rest floundered as the foul ebbing current built up.
Bravo to Tango, At Last, Escape and Providence for the effort.

The afternoon brought more wind but the morning flogging was enough for some.  The B division course was shortened to once around as Tango lapped the fleet on his second time around to finish just 13 seconds ahead of the last B boat.  That gives Tango two wins in a row with his new August rating.  Need I remind Phil of the long standing rule?  What kind of repairs did that boat get after hitting the rock?

Next race Thursday evening.  Sunday's race across the sound will be managed by Jerry Goodale.
