Ahoy!

 

     14 boats sailed the triangle with windward starting leg.  The wind, from the South was sufficient to get everyone around...some faster than others.   Maitland continues to dominate with another first place...just one minute and 7 seconds ahead of second place Easy Rider.  Its always fun to watch each boat in the fleet pick different sides of the course for their windward work, but paying attention to the ferry boats is part of it also.  And can anyone figure out the current without actually getting in it before discovering which way it goes?  Races scheduled for right when the charts show a high or low tide are always a guess.

   Two Sunday races and One more Thursday race remain on our HHSA schedule for 2026 in season races.  Awards pot luck dinner is Wednesday, September 9th at the VHYC, 6:00 PM. 

 

   There will some post season races, no doubt...stay tuned.
