Ahoy! 6 boats raced around the Triangle after a Windward Starting Leg is winds of less than 8 knots from various directions during the hour and a half contest. Artful Dodger made good use of his time on the course after a sail over from Falmouth in a blinding rainstorm. He won the race on corrected time, missing by 3 seconds on elapsed time, just behind Trinity. Sun was cooking after the clouds blew off and it was like a different day entirely by the time we were back on the moorings.

Ahoy Roger!
Six optimistic boats headed out this afternoon after the rain passed over and got ready to sail Course 1 or 0 in Reverse. We delayed our start by 30 minutes, so our first gun was at 2:30 with a 2:35 start. The wind freshened up out of the SSE for the first leg and a half of the race, but those toward the back of the fleet over ground were left floating for a bit with some shifty little gusts off of West Chop. Course 1R was shortened to 0R and we finished everyone back at N6 after one lap around the triangle. There was a bit of chaos at the starting line resulting in Maitland being called back to the line after performing her penalty turns, and some action at the windward mark if I’m not mistaken. Glad everything was resolved on the water and look forward to some more clean racing for the next one! Our results were as follows:
