HHSA: Thursday's Results 7-23-2026

Ahoy!

14 boats sailed Course 0 in reverse with a windward starting leg.  The wind was around 8 from the South and made for 1.5 miles of windward work, with slightly different than usual angles on the off wind legs.  The race was long compared to usual times for this course, due to the light wind and foul current from East Chop to West Chop.  Truckin won the race and the first 6 positions finished within one minute, five seconds of each other on corrected time.  

Our first possible date for a race to Tarpaulin Cove is this coming Sunday.  Watch your email for the decision to race and your Pursuit Start Time.  Current forecast is for high winds on Sunday (17-18 knots with gusts in high 20's out of the NE). Ahoy Roger!

Today was a beautiful and well-attended evening of racing! We had 14 boats make it around today- our largest fleet of the season thus far, which was awesome to see. We ran Course 0 in Reverse with our starting line set half a mile down by West Chop. The wind held up surprisingly well for us- somewhere between 5-10 kts out of the South. Looking forward to seeing everyone again on Sunday, hopefully with another packed starting line. Our results were as follows:
