Ahoy!  11 boats raced course #2 in reverse with a windward starting leg.  The predicted 13-15 knots of wind never materialized but there was enough wind to get everyone moving.  The wind had a strong southerly vector that made the beat back from Hedge fence to the finish a classical windward challenge.  Choosing when to make the tacks in the current that varied in strength as one crossed the sound was key.  Our fleet contains a wide variety of designs and watching the varied performance is a constant point of interest.   Zebra won the race with a boat load of crew.  Celebrations continued on deck at the mooring as the stragglers returned to the harbor.   Next race is Thursday evening...last of June and July's half of the season.
