Ahoy!
Four early birds were out today for a preseason go around. The wind was out of the north when the boats left their moorings but the wind switched handily to the Southwest for a course 1 in reverse. Steady she blew until the second rounding at Nun 4 when each boat in turn ran into a hole and everyone had a chance to reposition themselves in the line up. The sun broke through and was strong at the end, indicating summer is nigh and it is time to get sailing. Tamu wins today's warm up....it was good to have chance to exercise some dormant muscles before the contests involve coffee cups.
