5 boats came out expecting small craft advisories and 20MPH winds with gusts to 30 but were presently surprised with 12-14 knots, smooth waters and a "just plain fun" course. #7 with ebbing fall tides made for a quick race with boats correcting to close finishes again. First four positions within 2 minutes in a 9.4 mile race. Tristan Lodge, sailing the Swan 42, BIA, with his new rating (Having completed 5 races during the season) won the race with 18 seconds to spare.
