Subject: Sunday's race

Sunday’s race

Absent a commodore ( who will off cruising) and absent a committee boat I will run the Rabbit start Sunday.

Course # One TWICE a around East-West ( I think)

First signal (horn)       9:55
Second signal (horn)   9:56
Third Signal (horn)     9:59

Fourth signal (horn)  10: 00

45 seconds - plus or minus  -a little I will pass just north of Nun 6,  (1-2 feet) heading west toward the beach. At 10:00 and the horn (start) everyone pass between my stern and nun six- at the finish take your own time and send it to Roger.

If the weather looks poor I will call the race at 8:00 A.M.

Phil

Light breeze to start from the east diminished and clocked to the south.  Was there any current in the sound?  Seemed there was some benefit to going out there whatever the reason.   The main thing was the sunset.  Rocco's was the cap to what was a pretty good Thursday sail.

Next post season race is 10:00 AM Sunday morning...watch for announcements concerning start.
