The HHSA is getting set for another sailing season for the Vineyard Sound and Vineyard Haven outer Harbor. The format is the same as for 2023 but with a return of the Tarpaulin Cove Rendezvous race scheduled for July 28th. The website has been updated and you can renew your HHSA membership for 2024 by clicking on the link below or the green box on the website. The Dues are $100 but you can save $10 by registering for the 2024 Moffett Race with a combined payment of $140 (Recommended).
I've attached the 2024 Schedule, the 2024 Racing Circular and a summary of 2024 ratings for the boats that have sailed with us in the past. They have been calculated using elapsed results from the last 3 years of HHSA races and everyone will have a good chance of taking home a Coffee cup during the season.....Except last years Champion, Artful Dodger, who will be carrying a 15 sec/mile penalty for the season. His chances are not zero, but he will need to work extra hard for a cup!
The schedule includes a break so our members can support Sail MV's Vineyard Cup (July 12-14) and all are urged to participate in helping to fund the program that brings sailing instruction to those not connected to sailing through one of the local Yacht Clubs and it also supports the MV high school sailing team.

Mo Flam will be starting up the Pre-season racing on Memorial Day Weekend so the early birds can shake out the cob-webs before the real business begins. I highly recommend joining in as there is always something that comes up, so get over that part of the season's preparations sooner than later. Watch for email messages concerning these early-bird races. Very friendly and easy going.
