Ahoy!
12 big boats raced the triangle in reverse with a windward start. 12 -15 knots of wind which held steady to the end kept the fleet close in their finish times. Julia Lee won the cup and Truckin took line honors only 10 seconds ahead of Peter Howell, sailing a club Sonar.
4 H - 12s raced on their shorter course with Piece of Cake ahead of Whirlwind, followed by Providence and Lila.
Sunday's race to Tarpaulin Cove will be a Pursuit start and I'll email your start time by Saturday evening. It would help the committee to have an idea of who is planning to start as soon as you know. Forecast is for sun and 10-15 knots of wind.
All the best., Roger.
