Hi all
At 2:00 the wind appears to have been dropping for about two hours; though decision but lets race tonight. Currently there are no thunderstorms any where east of Scranton Pa. If some pop up and become an issue I will go boat to boat before the start this afternoon.
Thursday race, start at 6:00 P.M. world time.
We will use the Rabbit Start
I will pick the direction of the course and will act as the committee boat. The horn sequence is as follows.
First horn 5:55
Second horn 5:56
Fourth horn 5:59
Fifth horn 6:00 start
The plan is that at a few seconds before the starting horn (@ 6:00 P.M.) "Tango" will pass buoy #6 headed toward the West Chop Shore everyone will pass between "Tango" and the mark that is your start. "Tango" will swing around and to leeward of everyone and the race has on...
My guess is we will go East to West once around, will make a final decision on the water .
As you across the finish line record your time and either you can or I will pass it on to Roger; who will calculate the results
regards
Phil
