The final results are attached.  The business of self reporting is going to need some work.  Some quick points:
1.  People need to acquire one more skill:  look at your watch/gps/cell phone as you go over the finish line.  Write down the time.   If you are near other finishers, take their times as they might forget until everyone gets used to this.
2.  Even though the format is somewhat relaxed, you do need to cross the starting line, complete the course and cross the finish line before we will count the race.
3.  We are using the Thursday instructions for post season racing.  I'm sorry this wasn't made clear from the onset.  You need to pass within 50 yards of the red nun #6 and between it and either a committee boat on station or the VHYC dock.
Thank you Stuart for pointing out the problem when the wind is slightly east of south and conceding the point to the other Alerions who took a tack to get within that difference.  Stuart would have tied with At Last in 4th place had the line extended to the dock.

The Hugh Schwarz (Note Spelling) Cup post season racing is now an official series as we have completed 5 races.  Only Three contenders have competed in 5 races so far and they are currently scoring as follows:

Providence 3.6
Magic Time 4.2
Tango 6.2

These are the averages of their finishes.  The racing will continue as long as we get 5 willing participants coming regularly or until the weather is declared, by consensuses,  too unpleasant.  We have 3 other boats with 4 races under the belt and 5 more with 3 races scored.

Watch for announcements for the next post season race!

Dear Holmes Hole Captains and Crew-- Thank you all for your very generous "tip"!  It was certainly a surprise to receive it, especially given that I do very much enjoy getting out on the water and watching you sail. Please be aware that I am a incurable back seat driver when it comes to observing the yachts!  I also know Connor will enjoy your appreciation as well and will be able to purchase many more bowls of noodle soup than I!! All the best for a great post season-- no storms on the horizon. Ahoy, and thank you again.. Mary

Yours, Roger.
